The 2010 Texas Swoopers competition season is upon us!

1-2 May Texas Swoopers #1 SD Houston
5-6 June Texas Swoopers #2 SD Spaceland
10-11 July Texas Swoopers #3 SD Houston
7-8 August Texas Swoopers #4 SD Spaceland (pre-nationals meet)

Each of the competitons is on the Sunday of the dates listed. The Saturday is the official practice day. New for this year is available coaching on the practice day. You don't even have to be a competitor. If you are interested in learning more about how to fly your canopy for normal dropzone activity, if you want help starting a progression that leads to swooping, if you want help with your swooping or you want to start competiting, then the Texas Swoopers team will be happy to help you!

Please check the Schedule tab for detailed information about the meets, results, information about coaching, etc. Check the rules tab for the 2010 IPC rules and explainations about the rules. The Community tab takes you to the forums for questions and any other information needed. Also, training camps are being planned between the meets. You will find information about the training camps in the Texas Swoopers forums (Community tab) and on the Texas Swoopers Facebook group.

We are still in need of more judges as well as persons who will be willing to assist with running the meet (gate camera operation, fixing gates, etc). If you, your friend, your girlfriend, your boyfriend or whomever would be interested in helping for a meet, please let us know! For with your assistance you will gain fame and fortune...well maybe not, but a little fame anyways.
